Anxiety

Anxiety is possible one of the most common occurring conditions that I see in my practice on a day to day basis. Regardless of the health conditions involved, or the current underlying experiences, anxiety is almost always included as a major concern in the persons wellbeing.

Anxiety is real. And for those who are experiencing it, it is very profound and definitely a hard state to brush off and shake away. It can effect people of all ages, including small children.

While there are many copying mechanisms that can be learnt to help reduce the severity and duration of an anxiety or panic attack, there are also a number of chemical imbalances as well as deep emotional conditionings that are a large contribution to the condition.

In my practice, I find the best results occur when all of these areas are addressed as a holistic treatment, allowing the root causes to be addressed and therefore alleviating much of the symptoms on a more permanent basis.

The following information may help you to grasp a better understanding of the condition and how it manifests physically as well as emotionally and metaphysically.

PhysicalAnxiety is the expression of irrational fear, meaning that the person is feeling afraid where there is no sense of real danger present. It is a state of fearing the future based on past experiences, thus living life in a painful state of waiting for some unknown and unseen danger.

Anxiety can be experienced due to a number of reasons. You may be feeling nervous about confronting a certain issue or event, or perhaps you feel a little inadequate about your appearance, you may even feel a sense of fear having to step outside your front door.

Anxiety can manifest physical symptoms, some of which may include:

  • Skin disorders
  • Adrenal fatigue
  • Hormonal imbalance
  • Immune impairment or imbalance
  • Headaches
  • Digestive disorders including IBS
  • Nutritional deficiencies

A certain level of fear is necessary for human survival, it tells us if we should stay and fight or if we should run away from danger. However, experiencing fear for irrational reasons creates an imbalance in your health, preventing the mind and body from functioning optimally.

Metaphysical – Metaphysically, anxiety indicates that we are out of flow with life and not trusting the process. When we place such harsh judgement on ourselves and we don’t live up to our expectations we loose faith in our abilities to perform at a certain level, this brings about fear of life in general. Anxiety clouds our thoughts and locks us in to a state of negativity, thus sabotaging any ability to get ahead in life.

When we are deeply connected to our mind and body, we are able to feel if we are on the right path or if we are off track. However, when we allow anxiety to be in control, it is merely impossible to tell the difference between fear of the unknown and your “gut” telling you this is a bad idea.

The following guided healing helps you to get in touch with your mind and body, thus allowing you to release the anxiety so you can lead your life from clear and grounded perspective.
